How'd this get started?: Alexandre Thomas: This project started during my studies, it was the theme of a project. All
students had to develop a gantt chart project in java. After I developed this tool
for my universitry - the first version was really "light" featured !!! - I decided
to set it into sourceforge because I thought it was a great begining for an open
source project.
What do you think are its best features?
I think this tool is really interesting because it's so easy to use. For example, if
you use MS Project it contains several more feature but often people
think it's too complicated to manage a real project, to manage planning and so
on.
What is cooking for future releases?
We're currently working with a french ministery to improve a lot of important
features. We've planned to manage undo/redo on differents actions, plan to
import/export in MS Project format, improve the print because actually it's not
really usable. Also. improve the user interface and manage as an Eclipse plugin.
