Desktop Manager
Description: This is another program that implements a virtual desktop manager on OS X. It will run on your status bar and can be customized a bit: give names to your desktops and also use hotkeys to switch between them. Overall a nice little useful app.

Space
Description: Space brings the *nix utility of virtual desktops to the Mac OS X platform.
With OS X becoming popular with *nix users in 2001 one sorely missed feature was and has been virtual desktops. For those unfamiliar with the concept virtual desktops allow the user to easily organize applications onto seperate screens. For example email and instant messaging on screen one, browser and word processing on a second screen, multiple terminals on others.
While not as fully developed feature-wise as with the X Window System the application is a welcome addition for those who've tasted the utility on *nix desktops.
