The philosophy is to cover those not-too-complicated databases that make up the large majority of databases on the web - and elsewhere. The feature set is limited for exactly this goal: if a feature is not used in most databases, then it should not take up space in the interface, nor should it be allowed to potentially confuse the user by its presence. YourSQL is intended as the iApp of MySQL clients.
