EZ TAR
Description: The only free application I found that could create tar files, got good reviews, and had a decent website was TUGZip. Unfortunately, it was buggy and difficult to figure out. So much for research.
I ended up creating the EZ TAR interface. You need to install tar separately if the tar command doesn''t already work at your command line. Tar is available under the GPL, and is included in the EZ TAR download.
