Description: ShareWidth is a distributed cross-platform network file system designed to aid collaboration.
It provides a native filesystem interface (Letter drive in Windows and a Volume under other operating systems) so that you can edit your documents in any program without copying, uploading, or downloading them.
ShareWidth uses encryption for privacy, ACL’s for security and TCP for firewall friendliness.
Use this as a replacement for AFS, NFS, XFS, SMB, CIFS server when sharing over the internet or wireless LAN. Or use as a more secure alternative to a painful VPN or limited SSL VPN.
