[GRASSLIST:3955] Drawing text on the map.

Hi

I am a new user of GRASS gis . I am trying to draw text on the map with respect to Lat/Lon not with the X,Y or the line number. Is there any command i can use? I have used the "d.text" command which draws the text by taking the X,Y coordinates or the line number. But i want to Lat/Lon in place of X,Y. Hope that i will get some help.
