1. intel855 is just recognized if you refer to the 1280x768 screen
there is a (really little) patch.

2. wireless dhcp. please try to understand the underlying problem:
is documented very well int the suse support database. My windows machine doesn't work with wireless better than suse (the first time I can tell
that windows lacks hardware support) .

4. trackpad? have you try to set up xwindows under redhat/debian? just thank suse that the track pad works.

5. power saving? blame linux, not the distro: is a kernel issue.

6. red-hahahahat-config what? I'd better use vi to configure redhat.
